After serving on staff at a large church in Indianapolis for 5 years, Heather is on a journey to see what God has in store next. She has a complicated relationship to the systems of the Church, but a fairly simple one with Jesus. IYKYK. She lives with her family (3 wild kids and 2 rotten cats, Frank & Beans) in the Indianapolis area. She’s a born and bred Hoosier with a background in education and ministry.
In this season, Heather is exploring the social issues that stir her heart, seeking to learn and grow closer to God and taking a bold step in vulnerability, the beginning of all real and true things. She is obsessed with the Enneagram (she’s an 8 through and through), reads voraciously and is never without Diet Coke, her drug of choice. She doesn’t share her food, but she’ll gladly share an opinion on any topic you may suggest. She unapologetically takes up space, doesn’t know a stranger, is convinced that she can make a pygmy goat into a house pet, and dreams of traveling the world in luxury while working with a Red Roof Inn budget.
